JUST A GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hi! I’m Shelly, a people loving, memory chasing photographer with a thing for honest, joy filled moments. I’ve been capturing stories professionally for almost four years, but really, it started long before that with my mum’s camera and a love for the simple beauty of everyday life.


When she passed, I inherited her albums, thousands of photos that reminded me how powerful it is to hold your memories in your hands. That’s why I do what I do to freeze those fleeting moments that tell the story of your life, exactly as it is right now.

HOW IT BEGAN?

My love for photography began quietly watching my mum capture everyday moments that most people overlook. When I inherited her photo albums twelve years ago, I realised how those simple snapshots told the story of a life lived and loved.

Those albums became my “why.” Now, I photograph families, couples, and mamas to preserve their own stories, the messy, the magical, and everything in between so future generations can hold onto what really matters.
